Permanent Allied-Respiratory Therapist, ICU

Provide critical respiratory care to ICU patients; manage mechanical ventilation and other life-support systems for critically ill patients; administer aerosol medications and oxygen therapy; perform arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans; respond to emergencies including rapid response or code blue events; maintain accurate patient records and document treatments; educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use when transitioning out of the ICU. Rotate shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required in critical care settings.
