Job Summary
Permanency Specialist responsible for scheduling, facilitating, monitoring, documenting, and tracking permanency staffings, utilizing a trauma-sensitive, strength-based approach with families and youth, drafting court documents with permanency recommendations, and maintaining cooperative relationships with related agencies; requires Florida Bachelor’s degree in a human-service field, two years of child welfare experience, and Florida Certification as a full Child Protection Professional.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related Human Services degree
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in child welfare
- Florida Certification as a full Child Protection Professional prior to hire
