Job Summary
Manage a caseload guiding families through the permanency process, assessing child and family needs, and facilitating safe reunification or alternative placements. Conduct monthly visits to children and families, coordinate services with public and private agencies, and prepare families for adoption through training and home visits. Prepare assessments, court reports, and provide testimony while maintaining accurate case documentation and compiling monthly reports. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to crises and transport children safely using personal or agency vehicles. Champion cultural diversity and sensitivity throughout all interactions to support long-term stability for children in the Managing Conservatorship of DFPS.
