Job Summary
Permanent CT Technologist responsible for operating CT scanners, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses, while also maintaining records and participating in ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Certification
- Virginia Radiologic Technologist license application submitted prior to hire
- AHA appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation
- Knowledge of human growth and development
- Knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform general diagnostic radiography/fluoroscopy
- Ability to operate CT scan equipment
- Ability to work with Radiography students
Additional Requirements
- New hires must have AHA appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation
- All agency and non-hospital based applicants must have Virginia Radiologic Technologist license application submitted prior to hire
