Job Summary
Maintain product levels and quality control in frozen food and dairy departments by stocking display racks, rotating dated items, and inspecting products for safety. Operate a pallet jack to unload trucks and reload return items, ensuring proper handling of objects up to 75 lbs. Collect trash, manage hazardous areas, and promote sales through suggestive selling while greeting customers and addressing complaints. Ensure the shopping environment remains clean, safe, and sanitary by adhering to all food safety practices and company policies. This role requires Food Handler certification, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and on-the-job training. Partners must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment and 21 to drive company vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Food Handler certification
- Ability to operate manual or electric pallet jack
- Ability to safely operate and maintain department equipment
- Ability to handle objects gently to avoid damage to items, people, vehicles, and property
- Ability to safely work with sharp objects such as knives, box cutters, etc.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to attend work
