Perioperative Services Technician (CNA or EMT) - Occasional Part Time

The Perioperative Services Technician assists physicians and supports patient care within the Perioperative Services team. Responsibilities include aiding patient transport to/from the department, preparing patients for endoscopy and outpatient procedures, obtaining vital signs and demographic information, starting IVs when trained, supplying equipment and supplies for procedures, transporting specimens to pathology, performing post-procedural duties under RN direction, monitoring patient safety after conscious sedation, restocking endoscopy supplies, and maintaining a clean setup for subsequent procedures. Requires High School diploma or GED, one year healthcare experience, and SGNA/CNA/EMT certification or equivalent, plus BLS within 90 days of hire. Shift: Occasional Part time, Day shift 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.
