Job Summary
Lead clinical, operational, and professional leadership for surgical and rehabilitation wards, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and optimal clinical outcomes. Plan, implement, and evaluate practices, processes, and services in alignment with Ramsay Health Care standards, legislative requirements, and best practice. Mentire and lead a multidisciplinary team of nurses and clinical support staff to foster a collaborative culture that drives operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Manage financial, human, and capital resources while overseeing staffing, recruitment, rostering, and performance management for the operating theatres, PACU, DOSA, Day Surgery Unit, and CSSD. Report to the Director of Clinical Services to ensure excellence in care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of five (5) years' post-graduate nursing experience in the perioperative setting
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams with a proven ability to drive operational efficiency and foster culture of excellence (highly desirable)
- Leadership and Management post graduate qualifications or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
