Perioperative Nurse (part-time)

Perform preoperative examinations, verify informed consent, and administer medications. Assist surgeons during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique and managing equipment. Monitor patient vital signs and fluid balance in the recovery room, then complete postoperative documentation. Support clinic appointments, including consults and minor procedures, while scheduling and processing patient tests and office paperwork. Requires a Virginia RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification. Traveling required between Newport News and Williamsburg practices. Schedule is two days weekly, occasionally three.
