Job Summary
Perioperative Nurse Fellowship (PNF) program delivering classroom instruction, hands-on simulation, and structured clinical orientation with preceptor-guided experiences across multiple surgical specialties. Includes didactic periods, surgical-rotation phases, mentorship and weekly debriefings with clinical educators to support a smooth transition into the operating room nurse role; emphasis on evidence-based nursing care, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development. Two-year work agreement required with a 40-hour work week and an on-call obligation, along with need for a Compact/Multi-state nursing license prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
- Must have Compact/Multi-state License before the PNF class start date
- Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including state-required courses
- Must maintain a 40-hour work week during the two-year work agreement
- On-call requirement of 30-minute response time
- Compact/Multi-state License in primary state of residence
