Job Summary
Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs, deliver safe evidence-based care, and ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery. Monitor and evaluate patient recovery while addressing complications, and deliver education and support for patient management. Maintain patient safety and communication with the surgical team as a key focus. Work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday availability, no on-call shifts or public holidays. This part-time role at Southbank Day Surgery supports a busy surgical centre specialising in Dental, Dermatology, Plastics, IVF, and Ophthalmology.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in Perioperative Enrolled Nursing
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
- Minimum 60 hours per fortnight
- Monday to Friday flexible roster
- No on call shifts
- No public holidays
- Recent criminal history check
- Immunisation
