Job Summary
Perform daily set-up of surgical suites and room turnover between cases, maintaining a clean and orderly work area throughout the OR. Assist with patient positioning, lifting, and transfers, while performing sterile holds as needed. Restock supplies and linens for surgery and anesthesia, maintain oxygen tanks, and transport patients between departments. Report shortages of supplies or broken equipment to the supervisor, and conduct daily quality control checks on point-of-care testing devices. Work evening and night shifts with call required, earning between $16.76 and $24.65. This role supports clinical staff in delivering surgical and procedural services at Memorial Regional Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Basic Life Support certification (must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care)
- One-year perioperative experience
Desired Qualifications
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire)
- One-year perioperative experience (preferred)
