Job Summary
Support, perform, and document approved patient care policies while preparing surgical and recovery rooms before and after each case. Maintain accurate inventory levels, handle equipment and supplies for diagnostic tests, and communicate patient status to responsible care teams. Respond to emergency situations with composure, interpret age-specific patient data, and ensure privacy and confidentiality during interactions. Report observed violations, hazards, and noncompliance according to safety policies. Requires training in patient care, sterile environments, and business office activities. Local travel may be expected.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge in computer information systems
- Travel to other clinics as needed
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected
Desired Qualifications
- Training/experience in patient care
- Understanding of housekeeping requirements, including sterile environments
- Training or experience in business office activities
