Job Summary
Facilitate surgical cases by maintaining supplies and equipment including carts, scopes, and video monitors for nurses and anesthesiologists. Coordinate necessary service repairs with ANCC and assist nursing personnel with surgical instrumentation, disinfection, and sterilization of instruments. Perform surgical case picks for same day and following day cases, assist in preparing patients in the Holding Room, and provide care to post-operative patients in the PACU. Requires BLS or CPR/AED training and physical ability to lift and transfer patients or equipment. This role supports the perioperative phase of care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and infant patients at a Level I Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospital experience
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer Patients/equipment
- BLS or CPR/AED training required
