Job Summary
Perform periodic maintenance on all makes and models of forklifts at customer locations, including minor equipment repairs such as lights, belts, engine tune-ups, and hoses. Ensure customer equipment is properly maintained, running in peak form, and maximizing uptime while traveling the area in a fully loaded service vehicle. Interact with customers and execute work under little or no supervision. Requires 4+ years servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks, self-motivation, basic computer knowledge, and a driver's license with a good driving record. Must provide own tools. Compensation is $25-35/hr depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4 or more years servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment
- Self-motivation and assertive attitude
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Driver's license with a good driving record
- Must provide own tools
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
