Job Summary
Evaluate and manage high-risk obstetric patients, provide specialized prenatal and perinatal consultations, and perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Maintain precise medical records for all examinations and interventions, ensuring meticulous documentation of complex cases. Fulfill administrative duties while complying with Medicare, Medicaid, and hospital policies, and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and committees. Provide on-call coverage for obstetric emergencies and pursue continuous medical education to maintain board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty
- Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital
- Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
- Active or eligible unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado
