Job Summary
Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist performing OB/GYN ultrasound exams with a focus on fetal and gynecologic imaging. Operates General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines, maintains ultrasound logging records, and prepares patients for Level I & II ultrasounds and related procedures (e.g., amniocentesis). Identifies fetal and gynecologic anomalies, assists with complex twin/triplet scans, and communicates findings to physicians. Requires ARDMS with RDMS-OBGYN, BLS, and an Associate's degree in Ultrasound; Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum 1 year OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Ultrasound, required
- ARDMS, required
- RDMS-OBGYN – highly preferred
- BLS required
- Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations
