Job Summary
Perinatal Ultrasound Technician performing OB/GYN and perinatal ultrasound examinations; operates General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines; maintains ultrasound logs; prepares patients for Level I & II ultrasounds and related procedures; identifies fetal and gynecological anomalies; conducts complex twin/triplet scans; exercises independent judgement in interpreting biophysical profiles and alerts physicians to potential conditions; requires an Associate’s degree in Ultrasound (Bachelor’s preferred), ARDMS certification (RDMS-OBGYN highly preferred), and at least one year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience; benefits include comprehensive health plans, retirement, tuition/certification support, and family-building assistance; position located in Garland, TX with in-person work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Ultrasound, required
- ARDMS, required
- RDMS-OBGYN – highly preferred
- BLS required
- Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- A minimum of one-year specialty (OBGYN) Ultrasound Tech / Technician experience required
- May require state-specific licensure or certification
