Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Perinatal Services who will provide hands-on nursing care across the childbirth journey (Triage, Antepartum, Labor, Delivery, and Recovery), mentor new nurses, participate in education initiatives, research, and quality improvement. Must have an accredited nursing degree, active Missouri RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and completion of the AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Course. Preferred BSN and maternal-newborn/nursing specialization. Work includes 6:45 PM–7:15 AM shifts, 36 hours per week, at UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting families through perinatal care.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active Missouri RN License in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification (current)
- Completion of AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Course
