Perinatal Safety Specialist RN

Implement, promote, and oversee perinatal patient safety and quality of care initiatives while adhering to departmental, institutional, regional, and Federal standards. Disseminate pertinent safety information, participate in administrative rounding, and present concerns to clinical forums. Assist the healthcare team during adverse events, develop action plans for reported incidents, and contribute to departmental performance reviews by evaluating data and supporting corporate data entry. Maintain staff competency through education on Perinatal Safety Initiatives and national clinical practice standards.
