Job Summary

The Perinatal Education/Family Programs Instructor is responsible for ensuring the safety of all customers, participating in mandatory opportunities, and delivering evidence-based educational programs. Responsibilities include completing assigned departmental projects, assisting with the department budget, and participating in community events. The role requires skills in developing and delivering inclusive educational programs, effective communication at various cultural levels, and advocacy in healthcare. A minimum educational qualification includes a nursing program graduation or a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, along with at least two years of relevant experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Nursing Program
  • Licensed Healthcare Program
  • Bachelor Degree in Health Related Field
  • BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire)

Desired Qualifications

  • Two years or more of teaching childbirth or maternal child education preferred
  • Two years of practical experience in maternal/child or women’s health nursing

Additional Requirements

  • Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire)
