Job Summary
Perianesthesia Registered Nurse (PREOP/PACU) responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, administering medications per physician orders, educating patients and families, coordinating with the medical team, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety standards. The role requires EKG skills, English fluency, and nursing competencies; shift is 3 x 12-hour days with call responsibilities, at AdventHealth Apopka.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1+ PACU/PCU/ICU or ED experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
