Job Summary
Perfusionist Level 1 at a Level 1 trauma center (Barnes-Jewish Hospital) performing cardiopulmonary bypass and mechanical circulatory support for complex procedures including heart failure and trauma cases. You will administer pharmaceuticals, transfuse blood products, and operate extracorporeal membrane systems and ventricular assist devices, developing perfusion care plans and troubleshooting equipment. Work involves dynamic inter-hospital transport of mechanically supported patients, and participation in education and training programs for perfusion staff and students. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, CPR certification, and licensure as a Perfusionist with New Grad Provisional License; preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree and 2-5 years of experience with supervisory experience not required. Rotating shifts with a sign-on bonus and relocation offered. Comprehensive benefits available.
