Perfusionist II

Prepare for, safely conduct, and document Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) procedures under the supervision of the Chief Perfusionist. Maintain clinical competency, manage equipment maintenance and materials, and initiate transport of mechanical circulatory devices when necessary. Independently participate in education and precepting of perfusion students and new employee orientation. Fulfill required annual clinical and hospital-related competencies while documenting QC and test results. Requires American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion certification and Georgia license, plus two years of experience. BLS required; ACLS preferred.
