Job Summary
Conduct theatre planning work by researching topics contributing to Performing Arts facilities development and rendering support for internal and external parties. Gain practical and theoretical training in programming, operations, and technical arts through active involvement in theatre planning projects. Learn about WestK's facilities and current development while working closely with professional staff in the Performing Arts Division. This six-month full-time paid internship runs from September/October 2026 for graduates with a bachelor's degree in technical arts disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative region
- Bachelor degree or above in Technical arts, such as theatre and event & management, stage technology and rigging, lighting design and technology, sound design and technology, architecture or project management disciplines
- Strong interest in working professionally in theatre planning field
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
Desired Qualifications
- Some relevant working experiences in supporting stage performance
- Good computer skills (AutoCAD)
