Job Summary
Lead end-to-end performance testing activities for enterprise applications by defining test strategies, workload models, and plans. Design, develop, and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests while analyzing metrics to identify bottlenecks in application, database, and infrastructure layers. Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Prepare reports with optimization recommendations and mentor junior testers. This role is based in Charlotte, NC with a base salary of $100k-$105k. Required Qualifications
- QA/Performance Testing experience with experience in a lead role
- Strong experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling
- Experience testing Web Applications, APIs, Microservices, and Cloud-based solutions
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, SQL, Java/.NET architectures, and distributed systems
- Experience monitoring applications using Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic
- Strong skills in performance analysis, capacity planning, and root cause identification
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience in performance engineering, site reliability, and application tuning
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
- Knowledge of container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Relevant certifications in performance testing, cloud, or quality engineering
