Job Summary
Build performance testing architecture for cloud-based microservices and Point of Sale applications. Execute manual and automation testing during regression cycles using advanced techniques, including exploratory testing to break next-generation products. Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters for local performance environments while analyzing results via continuous integration tools like TeamCity and Xray. Work within Agile ceremonies and collaborate with teams to resolve issues. Provide overlap coverage until 5pm EST (PKT 2:00 AM) for the first two months.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a degree or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar streams
- Preferably 6-8 years of professional experience in Performance testing software systems that run on java microservices
- Solid experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter
- Strong foundation in manual testing
- Proficiency in Java
- Good hands-on with API automation especially with RestAssured
- Good programming skills (Java, C, C++, JavaScript, or similar) and OOPS concepts
- Experience with data structures or algorithms gathered from inside or outside of school or work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office
