Performance Marketing Lead - Meta & Google

Job Summary
Performance Marketing Lead on a contract-to-hire basis responsible for owning paid acquisition across Google Ads and Meta with hands-on campaign management, testing, and performance analysis. Build and optimize campaigns (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube; Meta), maintain creative testing velocity, brief creative concepts, monitor core metrics (CAC, ROAS, contribution margin), and run attribution analyses using GA4 and third-party tools. Lead cross-channel strategy, reallocate budget to high performers, and partner with in-house creative/analytics teams to align media with business priorities. Requires self-direction, ability to ship tests independently, and a track record of scaling paid media in ecommerce/DTC contexts. Strong preference for direct response background and experience with AI tools in paid media workflows. Location preferences include remote work with Seattle, WA as a working hint; contract-to-hire pathway with performance-based incentives and ongoing reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on managing paid media on both Google Ads and Meta
- Strong written communication and ability to brief creative teams
- Direct response background or formal DR training
- Demonstrable Meta creative fluency and Google Ads depth across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Experience with analytics and attribution, GA4 or similar
- DTC/ecommerce experience preferred, subscription-focused a plus
