Performance Improvement Specialist

Job Summary
Lead and monitor performance improvement projects within Saint Francis Healthcare System, providing just-in-time PI coaching and training (including Lean, Six Sigma, Rapid Cycle Improvement) to leaders and colleagues; coordinate all PI efforts within the assigned care site/business process; redesign care delivery processes in partnership with improvement teams; ensure projects yield sustained improvements. Drive improvements across key clinical processes to enhance care efficiency, care effectiveness, quality and regulatory compliance; model a service-excellence culture aligned with the system's mission and values; apply program development and implementation experience to teach statistical concepts of variation and build PI capabilities among staff.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing or Bachelor degree in healthcare related field
- 3 years clinical, engineering or financial experience - required
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to understand and teach statistical concepts of variation
- experience with Lean, Six Sigma - preferred
- complete PI academy or equivalent - preferred
