Job Summary
Develop and integrate a comprehensive performance improvement program to drive results in quality, efficiency, safety, satisfaction, and value. Monitor programs and activities that ensure safe care administration across clinical processes while fostering a culture where safety is paramount. Serve as a clinical liaison for quality improvement and patient safety models, managing projects that support organizational and departmental goals. Gather and analyze data to prepare status reports for initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards. Maintain professional competency and work with diverse teams to implement practical solutions to problems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in healthcare project management
- previous experience in performance improvement activities
- statistical analysis and reporting
- Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of required job information
- Proficient with Windows-style applications, keyboard, and various software programs specific to role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals
- Analytical skills and ability to use a logical through process in order to formulate practical solutions to problems
- Decision-making, delegation, and leadership skills
