Job Summary
Performance Engineer in Bristol (Hybrid) responsible for design, simulation and verification of engines/aircraft at the whole-system level, including 1D thermodynamic simulation, empirical modeling and 3D CFD; defines product interfaces, gathers and disseminates requirements across internal/external customers, provides data to sub-systems, ensures certification frameworks are respected, and collaborates with stakeholders including internal teams, airframers, regulatory authorities and customers. Requires strong mechanical design knowledge across disciplines, ability to apply analytical and innovative thinking, and typically a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (engineering chartership preferred in the UK). The role offers hybrid working in Bristol, UK with security-clearance requirements for Rolls-Royce Defence.
