Job Summary
Performance Engineer position involving non-functional requirements collection, workload model creation from production logs, and test script development using tools like Apache Jmeter and HP Load Runner. Responsibilities include designing various test scenarios such as peak load, endurance, and stress tests, executing test runs, and analyzing server-side metrics. Effective collaboration with development and capacity teams to troubleshoot issues and provide performance tuning analysis is essential. Required Qualifications
- Non functional requirements collection from different stakeholders
- Workload model building using production logs and Splunk
- Test script development using Apache Jmeter and HP Load Runner
- Designing various test scenarios like peak load, endurance, and stress tests
- Execution of different types of test runs
- Monitoring server-side metrics through tools like Hubble, Foglight, and HP Performance Manager
- Providing effective test results analysis to enhance application performance
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge on Mongo DB and MMS, OEM, AWR reports
- Integration knowledge on Jenkins, Jmeter, Splunk and the monitoring tools to have a single dashboard structure
- Client and server side profiling using tools like developer tools, J profiler and Dynatrace
- APM, CI work with custom tools like Jenkins, Selenium, JMeter
