Job Summary
Oversee fueling for IMG Academy student-athletes while traveling with teams to in-state and out-of-state competitions. Design and implement a 10-month nutrition curriculum, delivering 1:1 and group sessions for full-time, camp, adult, and professional athletes. Develop practical, educational, and entertaining nutrition content tailored to diverse ages, cultures, and sports levels. Promote evidence-based nutrition practices by collaborating with Sport Science and the Gatorade Sports Science Institute to optimize performance and recovery. Assist in delivering supplementation strategy and coach education initiatives across campus. Support IMG Institute events and coordinate with the APD team to ensure a holistic approach to athlete support.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD)
- State Licensure in FL (LD) or State Licensure eligibility within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, or related field
- Ability to comply with legislation in Florida in relation to Nutrition services and advice
- Excellent communication, presentation, and motivational skills along with strong written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
- Understanding of latest research in the field of sports nutrition
- Experience building menu and catering needs for athletes to maximize athletic performance
- Ability to take accurate measurements, including body weight and height
- Experience with nutrient analysis software
- Auditory and visual ability to assess and provide nutrition care
- Good math skills
- Knowledge and ability to use PC and related software
- Ability to understand rules of various sports governing bodies regarding restricted substances and supplements
- Ability to deliver current knowledge in realistic and practical terms
- Strong ability to connect well with the younger athlete
- Perceived credibility as a subject matter expert in the field of Nutrition
- Meet professional standards when working with clients, department staff, interns, and other professionals. This includes the ability to troubleshoot situations and deal with any unique situations that may arise
- Participate in a team environment to ensure best practices of nutrition service
- Proactive personality who is a role model for nutrition on IMG Academy campus
- Strong time management, adaptability and flexibility

Desired Qualifications
- Master of Science in nutrition or exercise related field
- CSSD (Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics)
- Multi-lingual
- Experience working with a youth population
- Experience with Teamworks and Smartabase suite of products, including Teamworks Nutrition
- Experience as an athlete or coach
