Job Summary
Manager, Performance Creative responsible for strategy, direction, and delivery of performance-driven creative across a book of business ranging from 2-5 clients; translate performance data into creative direction, testing roadmaps, and iteration plans; develop recurring briefs with performance-driven messaging, hooks, headlines, and ad copy; partner with Media teams to align on testing strategy, scaling opportunities, and performance optimization; collaborate with Design and Production to manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables; analyze creative performance to drive actionable insights; apply knowledge of Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and Programmatic platforms to inform strategy; support client communication with insights and recommendations; contribute to testing frameworks and best practices; explore AI tools to enhance development and efficiency; travel occasionally (1-3 times/year); remote-first culture with office hubs in LA, Chicago, and New York; not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in performance creative, paid social, or a related field, preferably within an agency environment
- 2+ years of experience owning client relationships and delivering creative tied to performance outcomes
- Strong understanding of how creative and media work together, with experience partnering with media teams on testing, scaling, and optimization strategies
- Experience translating performance data into actionable creative direction, taxonomy, testing hypotheses, and iteration plans
- Working knowledge of paid media platforms, especially Meta Ads Manager, with familiarity across TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and emerging channels
- Strong creative and performance marketing instincts, with the ability to develop and iterate on messaging, hooks, headlines, and ad copy that resonate across audiences, platforms, and funnel stages to drive engagement and conversion
- Ability to identify which creative concepts to scale, iterate on, or pivot from based on performance insights
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple timelines, deliverables, and workstreams simultaneously
- Strong client-facing communication skills, including presenting creative work, performance insights, and strategic recommendations
- Strong awareness of emerging trends, platform evolution, and culturally relevant moments, with a proactive approach to staying current on shifts shaping consumer behavior and creative best practices
- Actively explores and leverages AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative development, optimize workflows, and drive operational efficiency
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across Media, Design, Production, and Client Strategy teams
