Job Summary
Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans while leading diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels. Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe personalized exercise plans, and design effective programs for clients, including high-risk populations. Offer one-on-one consultations, personalized training, and motivation to help clients succeed in their fitness journeys. Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations and assist with implementing incentive and health promotion programs. Requires Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology, current CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and at least six months of industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- At least 6 months of industry experience, including relevant internships
- Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes
Desired Qualifications
- Current certification from a nationally accredited industry association such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE
