PerDiem-RN-Cath Lab

Registered Nurse – Cath Lab per diem providing nursing care under physician direction and in compliance with the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act. Applies the nursing process to assess patients, implement and evaluate care plans, and coordinate with the care team to prevent Healthcare Acquired Conditions and avoid hospital readmissions. Delivers compassionate, standards-based care with attention to safety, patient education, and teamwork; may assist with orientation of new staff. Requires a nursing degree and current RN licensure in Arizona (or compact state), plus BLS and unit-specific certifications (EKG competency, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and others as needed by unit). Responsibilities span data collection, comprehensive history and physicals, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes in various units (including Medical-Surgical, ICU, Women’s Services, ED, Hemodialysis, Cath Lab, Cardiology, Surgical Services, ECHO, etc.).
