Job Summary
Founding engineer on a mobility vision product. Design and implement the perception pipeline, matching/ranking algorithms, and privacy protection mechanisms for a latency- and privacy-constrained system tested in Woven City. Responsibilities include full development lifecycle from design to deployment, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of observability metrics for processing performance, accuracy, and delivery latency. Requirements include 4+ years in image processing or computer vision, strong Python/Go skills, privacy-preserving image processing, ML framework experience, and backend integration; business-level Japanese and conversational English. Hybrid workstyle with potential day trips to Woven City.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in image processing, computer vision, or related engineering fields
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar
- Experience with privacy-preserving image processing
- Proven ability to optimize processing performance for latency-sensitive systems
- Experience applying ML frameworks to build and deploy image processing or detection systems
- Experience integrating with backend systems (REST APIs, message queues, streaming data)
- Business Level Japanese and conversational English
