Job Summary
Per Diem Unarmed Security Officer responsibilities include delivering high end customer service, responding to emergencies, deterring and preventing crime, performing ingress/egress control procedures, investigating incidents, completing daily logs and incident reports, conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols, building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers, de-escalating conflicts, detaining suspects, monitoring CCTV cameras, and performing other related duties as assigned. Officers may be asked to work with a firearm. This role operates in demanding environments across medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events, with a focus on protecting people, information and property while upholding OPS Security Group's values and commitment to service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid DL
- High school diploma or GED
- (1) year experience in armed security recommended
- Must be able to pass PAT and ASO course
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent de-escalation skills
- Proficient firearms skills
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
