Job Summary
Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessments, start IVs, and administer discharge instructions. Recover patients post-anesthesia, reinforce post-op protocols, and accurately document care in the electronic medical record. Deliver direct patient care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases while overseeing suite sterility, equipment functionality, and aseptic techniques. Initiate emergency protocols, coordinate repairs, mentor new staff, and communicate patient condition changes to the surgical team. Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess supply needs and support process improvements. This per diem on-site role at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington in Spokane, WA, offers hourly compensation of $46.00 - $65.00 for active RNs with Washington licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as an RN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, transferring patients, and pushing or pulling equipment
- Must be available for per diem on-site position
- Location in Spokane, WA
