Develop and implement speech-language pathology treatment programs by assessing patient communication functions, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, and interpreting assessment findings for patients and families. Create realistic treatment plans based on evaluation results and stated goals, monitor clinical progress, and coordinate care with referring physicians and the rehabilitation team. Document all treatments and patient attendance accurately per departmental protocols and provide verbal reports at staff meetings. Engage caregivers in ongoing treatment planning and discharge planning while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to insurance guidelines.
