Job Summary
Prioritize, delegate, and evaluate patient care in the MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Department while delivering nursing care using the nursing process per hospital protocols. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction, while fostering a learning environment for patients, families, and staff. Advocate for ethical, holistic care promoting patient autonomy and dignity across diverse backgrounds. Requires 12-hour shifts with active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency nursing experience
- Active BLS certification
- Active ACLS certification
- Active PALS certification
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- PALS certification required within 90 days of hire
- NRP certification required within 90 days of hire
- Two (2) years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP)
- Certification in specialty area
