Job Summary
Assist the director and supervisor in the daily function of the Infusion Center in accordance with federal, state, and accreditation standards. Oversee patient care activities for Hematology Oncology Providers and maintain high safety standards for patients and staff. Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies, and equipment needs while reporting directly to the Nurse Supervisor or Clinic Administrator. Serve as a patient liaison for care rendered. This role requires 8 shifts per month, including specific holiday shifts, and mandates an RN license with 3+ years of infusion or chemo experience.
Required Qualifications
- RN required education
- RN License
- CPR/BLS
- 3+ years of RN experience in an Infusion/Chemo setting
- ALS or willing to obtain
- Basic computer skills
- Clear communication skills
- 8 shifts per month
- 4 shifts per year before or after clinic holidays, with 2 shifts related to a summer holiday and 2 shifts related to a winter holiday or as needed based on department needs
