Job Summary
The Per Diem RN II is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families. The role requires 3 years of RN experience, a valid Texas RN license, and current BLS certification. Additionally, the RN must be capable of using medical equipment and supplies for various procedures. This position involves a flexible work schedule requiring at least five shifts per month, including specific holiday requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
- 3 years of RN experience
- Valid and current Texas RN license
- Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
- Windows based computer skills
- ACLS
Additional Requirements
- 5 shifts per month
- 3 shifts per year the day before or after a clinic holiday, with minimum of 1 shift related to a winter holiday
- Able to travel within a selected region
