Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care by applying clinical skills to ensure patient safety and comfort according to legal and professional standards. Administer CPR, oxygen therapy, and intravenous treatments while utilizing equipment and supplies for the selected patient population. Maintain current Texas RN licensure, BLS certification, and CRT experience to meet required qualifications. Work five shifts monthly and rotate holiday shifts as needed within the Greater Heights region.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
- 1+ years of RN work experience or previous experience as a KSC LVN
- Valid and current Texas RN license
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Willing to work 5 shifts per month
- Willing to work 3 shifts per year the day before or after a clinic holiday, with minimum of 1 shift related to a winter holiday
- Demonstrated ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
- CRT experience
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in nursing
- Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
- Windows bases computer skills
- ACLS
