Job Summary

Per Diem RN Admissions role focused on coordinating hospital referrals and admissions, enhancing relationships with referral sources, and facilitating timely admissions in a hospital environment. Requires active RN license in the working state, BLS, at least 1 year RN experience (hospice/hospital preferred), EMR/EHR experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team with multi-tasking under emotional workload. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for scheduling and care-navigation activities; duties include explaining services, addressing objections, initiating plans of care, obtaining physician orders, and coordinating discharge. Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license in state of work
  • Active BLS for healthcare professionals (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience; hospice or hospital experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment skills; EMR/EHR experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance per company policy; reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a team; multitask and manage emotional workload
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role (lifting, bending, etc.)
