Job Summary
Provide direct support to individuals with psychiatric conditions and behavioral health challenges in residential settings by administering medication under the Medication Administration Program (MAP), implementing treatment plans, and assisting with activities of daily living such as household chores and cooking. Strengthen residents' community connections through transportation for outings including shopping and medical appointments. Work collaboratively with residents, families, and support staff to build independence skills or enhance quality of life. Maintain a current, valid US driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Complete CPR, First Aid, and MAP certification within specified timelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least 6 months
- Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background and driving record check
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field
- Prior Human Services experience
- Strong time management and writing skills
