Per Diem Rehabilitation Aide - Yaphank

Prepare patients for treatment by therapists and assist during therapy sessions. Transport patients independently to and from the department using a stretcher or wheelchair. Maintain the therapy department, equipment, and working areas in a clean, orderly condition. Assist professional staff in ordering supplies and linens, manage the linen closet, and place patients in positions for treatment. Perform messenger duties such as taking messages, entering and retrieving basic information, and transporting equipment. Assist in workshops as required.
