Job Summary
Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance, confirm tip placement with ECG technology, and manage vascular access devices including declotting, removal, and port access. Educate facility nursing staff on CVADs while collaborating with clinical teams to resolve venous access issues. Travel to customer facilities in the Western and Southern United States to fulfill per diem scheduling requirements of a minimum of four shifts monthly, including weekends and holidays. Requires a registered nurse license, BLS certification, and three years of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current license
- American Heart BLS Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience
- Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound
- Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
- Ability to work independently and fulfill scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification
- Must possess a smart phone
- Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation for travel to patient sites
- Must LOVE vascular access
