Job Summary
Provide nursing intervention, medical assessment and support to individuals experiencing Behavioral Health or Substance Use crisis; function as a member of an interdisciplinary team to support recovery; monitor inventory of medical supplies; record vital signs and nursing observations; deliver health education and ensure safe, therapeutic care according to nursing care plans and NYSOMH regulations; complete nursing documentation in EHR; attend routine staff meetings; complete crisis intervention and de-escalation training; evaluate guest responses to interventions; foster collaborative relationships with guests, families, and care team; communicate with care team and guest families; maintain safety and coordinate with Site Director LCSW of Ulster County Support Center.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and registered to practice nursing in New York state
