Job Summary
Medical Doctor radiology role focused on diagnosing, treating, and managing hospitalized and/or ambulatory patients with emphasis on comprehensive patient evaluations, development of individualized treatment plans, inpatient rounding, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include supervising and educating trainees, leading quality-improvement initiatives, participating in hospital committees and continuing medical education, and ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The position requires MD/DO with residency and often fellowship training, licensure, board certification, and an unrestricted DEA number. Salary range $425,000–$485,000 annually; based in Boston, MA at Tufts Medicine; per diem/contract arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Residency Program completion
- Fellowship completion (if appropriate)
- Licensure to practice medicine
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty
- Hospital approved credentials (medical license, clinical privileges)
- Unrestricted DEA number
- Appropriate certificates for area of practice (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, etc.)
