Per Diem Radiation Therapist

The Radiation Therapist delivers prescribed radiation doses and performs patient simulations to set up daily treatments under the supervision of the Chief Radiation Therapist. Responsibilities include preparing patients, conducting simulations for treatment setup, delivering treatments with high accuracy, verifying placement with port films/digital images, documenting data in patient charts, scheduling and coordinating patient flow, and maintaining daily statistics for department planning. Required credentials include graduation from an AMA-approved radiation therapy program and ARRT certification; one year of experience is preferred, with consideration for new graduates. This role is based at Jefferson’s East Norriton, PA location and involves on-site day shifts under per diem terms.
